You need at least 700 credits to get a Sam's Club business credit card. This does not guarantee that your application will be approved, but it can serve as an indicator of risk to your card company. In other words, it shows how likely you are to pay off your debt.
However, credit card companies generally look at the bigger picture, which includes the number of delinquent accounts on your credit report, hard issues, debt and income.

I would give this card a 0 if possible. I have been a corporate member of Sam's for 20 years and the MasterCard issued by Synchrony Bank is terrible. I have excellent credit and have always paid off my card in full each month. Those bastards have an algorithm that pulls out your card when you least expect it. You then have to jump through hoops to unlock them. I recently remodeled my kitchen and bought high end appliances in my hometown. Nothing special, because I often buy things for thousands of dollars. They locked it and when I tried to unlock it, they asked me to use an impossible smartphone app that takes a picture of your face and then takes a photo of your driver's license. What an invasion of privacy! The app didn't work at all and then blocked me permanently. The only way to unlock it is to write a letter to Synchrony Bank with a copy of your ID and utility bill from the registered address. Then you have to wait another month to see if their worthless fraud unit accepts it. I hate this bank and their terrible customer service. I wish Sam would do business with another company. Do not set up scheduled payments on this card as it will be declined when your card closes randomly. Although Sam's card gives you 2% back when you spend over $1000.00, I recommend using another card. There are other cards that will give you 1-1/2% back with no annual fee and don't treat you like a criminal just for using the card.

TERRIBLE CARD, THE WORST I HAD!! It took them 6 cards to get the real name of my company. Their website is TERRIBLE, took an awful long time to create an account and is never updated or accurate. Don't expect to have to search past statements online. I just found out that the rewards are only paid out ONCE A YEAR!!! Ridiculous and if you cancel your card you will lose your rewards. Scandalous!!! Get started!!!!

Synchrony bank lied to me when I called that my card was declined. I was lied to by a customer service representative and when I was transferred to the fraud unit, I concluded that the customer service representative was lying. The customer service rep wouldn't tell me I was being transferred to the fraud department, he said I needed to be transferred, but he wouldn't tell me who or why I needed to talk to someone else. When I spoke to the fraud department they said that the purchase I was trying to make had aspects consistent with fraud. The first thing that came to my mind is that these guys I want to do business with are scammers, but if I ask the scammer if they know anything, I know they won't say anything, but there was something in the deal that was consistent with a scam.
I have had the card for a short time and I remember it from the perspective of time. While I was waiting in line to get my card, the guy behind me told me a story about how his card had been declined several times and it didn't work while it was in transit. He was with Sam because he was told to come to card lessons. Of course I just thought he was in trouble, but in reality he experienced what can and will happen to anyone who does business with Sam's MasterCard.
I liked the convenience of this card as a membership and credit card, but I plan to change the way I do business to avoid Synchrony Bank and their games.

For years we only used it as a spare because we had a lot of problems with it. The website is out of date and it takes a few days for the purchase to go through. They keep blocking the card for suspicious activity without telling us, so we won't know until the card is declined at the worst possible time. Transactions that are blocked also don't seem to make sense. A large out-of-town purchase is not deducted, but a monthly subscription is charged on the same day each month. Why did it seem suspicious this time? I just spent 22 minutes on the phone with customer service and no one answers. I think we are finally giving up on the card. All the effort costs the company more than the benefits that save us.

I am very happy with this card. I use it more at Walmart..lol. I applied in December 2014. I was approved for $437 for a Sam's Club Store business card. I do pymty. several times a month. In May 2015 I requested an increase but 5 days later my credit limit was increased to $600, a month later (June 2015) it was increased to $700, in November 2015 my new credit limit was increased to $1100. Logging into my account was hectic, I'm used to it. Pymty online sometimes takes up to 5 days to ship and the same time to debit my bank account. In shop pymts. sometimes it will be posted immediately after cash payment, but it can take up to 3/5 days. In reality, just watch your balance. I was shocked at my last increase because I still had a lot of debt to pay off. Good luck. I hope it helps.

This is a terrible card. I just have problems with it. Something always comes up that they have to change my number and give me a new card. I appreciate the security, but the internet connection to pay the bill works once and then it doesn't. The site is outdated and difficult to navigate. If there is a problem and you call while you are not in the office, the security question (at least twice) has to do with my last payment. I can't remember it by heart. So it goes without saying that the card is not used anywhere but at Sams, or maybe not. worst card ever.

This card does not help track data. It doesn't have a yearly breakdown like most other charts. Plus, online statements only go back a few months, and if your card is replaced, all of your online history is gone.
If you use this card, keep your paper statements.
What does the board think? I keep getting offers for electronic statements, but management has no idea how inefficient it is for business documents.

This is one of the worst cards. Please, Sams, do something about it. I use it for my work. I will be banned if I use it more than twice a day. That's so stupid. I have to call them and they apologize for the suspicious activity! ! ! Omg chill some people. Another thing that drives me crazy is internet access. The site looks like it was made in 1995.

I got multiple calls for being late and paying twice when I shouldn't have. I have had no problems with ant from my other cards and every other month I have a problem with the one in the SAMs club. I've never been this mad at any other card, but I have to say the Philippines rep was very good. Now I only pay cash at ATMs.

Their interest is great. For the best score you must have 825 points. I have almost 800 and the interest they gave me is 22.9%. My other cards are around 9-12%. It's not worth the cash back when you can get similar ones with lower interest cards like Costco and AARP.
