Is Jonah done hunting? What does the last scene of The Hunters mean?
After the overthrow of Hitler, Jonah announced his retirementThe career of a Nazi fighterbut the last scene of The Hunters suggests otherwise. In the closing moments of the second season of The Huntsman, Jonah and Clara spend their honeymoon at a restaurant in Miami, Florida. Although Clara doesn't seem to notice, Jonah is seen glaring at the German sitting next to them at the table, implying that he's still hunting Nazis after the Hunters finale. Sister Harriet just told him not to stop hunting because evil doesn't go away, so Jonah seems to have taken that to heart.
Although Jonah said he would stop hunting after Adolf Hitler was brought to justice, it seems that it was mostly because he thought he wanted to protect Clara. Before joining the hunt himself, Jonah was nervous because he didn't know the "real" Ruth, he didn't know about her careerthe hunt for Nazis inspired by life in Americabut Meyer assured him that the real Ruth was the person she was with with Jonah. Ruth left Jonah on the hunt to protect him, which is exactly what Jonah now plans to do with Clara. With this advance assurance from Meyer, Jonah will be safe in the knowledge that he can continue his secret hunt while staying "real" with Clara.

Millie hangs up, knowing she can get away with it, even though the FBI would otherwise fire her or arrest her. Meyer gaf opdracht tot Ruth's Death: The Hunters Flashback Return Explained
Another shocking twist in the second season finale of The Hunters is coming to the series' timeline. Meyer's plot in Hunter Season 2 was about uncovering the truth behind the formation of the Nazi Hunters and the circumstances that led to his death inDownload hunters season 1 endingwhich covered the murder of Ruth Heidelbaum. Jonah's grandmother was killed by Nazi Heinz Richter in the series premiere of The Hunters, and the second season finale reveals why Richter really chose her.
A hunter flashback from Season 2 confirms that Ruth discovered that Meyer was actually the Wolf, so Meyer had her killed before she could tell the other hunters the truth. Meyer then called Heinz Richter, told him that Ruth was on his trail and told him where to find her, effectively ordering her death. This plotline makes Meyer's decision to become Jonah's mentor even more sadistic, while reinforcing Al Pacino's monster character. The end of the second season of The Huntsman allows Jonah to stop his grandmother's death in the 1979 timeline.Lik Kate Mulvany, Harrietina sestrahe also realized that Meyer had called Heinz Richter and arranged for Ruth's murder to cover his own tracks.
What happened to Travis? Will he lead the Fourth Reich?
The biggest unanswered question in the Hunters series finale is what happened to neo-Nazi leader Travis Leitch. At the end of the second season of The Hunters, Jonah confronted Travis on a rooftop to prevent his evil plans to help Hitler escape from prison. After shooting Jonah, Travis was shot in the shoulder by Joe and was being chased by the authorities, so he decided to jump off the side of a building to escape. When the authorities looked behind the building, Travis was gone, and the season two finale of The Hunters never revealed the fate of the evil hero.
Because Travis had already survived a gunshot wound to the faceThe TV series ends in 2023, it seems that he also survived a bullet in the arm in the finale. Travis has gathered an army of neo-Nazis in prison, so he has enough followers to help him hide and heal his wounds. With Hitler in prison and Eva Braun dead, Travis is now the most powerful Nazi figure, indicating that he will take over Eva's plans to launch a "Fourth Reich" in America. However, since Jonah and Harriet haven't actually stopped hunting Nazis, Season 2 of The Hunters suggests that they can finally stop Travis and his leadership of the "Fourth Reich" after the finale.
